Two Women Hospitalized after Pedestrian Collision near Perris Boulevard

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (January 18, 2019) – Two women were hospitalized Friday evening following a hit-and-run crash on Fir Avenue. The identities of the victims were not immediately disclosed to the public.
 
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the incident happened near Perris Boulevard, at about 7:45 PM. The women were walking outside of a crosswalk when they were hit by a passing vehicle.
 
One woman suffered minor injuries, and the other had moderate injuries. They were both transported to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation. Further updates on their current medical conditions were not provided.
 
The suspect vehicle, described as a work truck, immediately fled the area. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to cooperate with investigators as soon as possible. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
