Grandmother and her Granddaughter Hospitalized after Crash on Azusa Avenue in City of Industry

City of Industry, CA (September 29, 2022) – On Wednesday, a grandmother and her granddaughter sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Azusa Avenue and Gemini Street.

The hit-and-run crash in the City of Industry happened on September 28. 

A residential security camera showed a silver Honda Accord driving through a red light at the intersection of Azusa Avenue and Gemini Street, then plowing into the two pedestrians and speeding away.

The pedestrians fly across the hood of the car before landing on the road.

EMS transported the two victims to a hospital. They were treated and later released.

Investigators from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Traffic Division found the vehicle around 2:30 p.m. and arrested the suspect.

The suspect, whose name was not released, was booked at the Industry Sheriff’s Station.

Further investigation into this crash is ongoing.
