Injuries Reported in Seattle Tesla Crash on Blewett Pass
SEATTLE, WA (June 15, 2021) – Sunday night, two passengers suffered injuries while the driver was arrested in a DUI accident on Blewett Pass.
The single-vehicle crash happened just before 9:00 p.m. Also, all three occupants, including the driver, were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
According to Trooper Jeremy Weber, a Seattle man drove a 2020 Tesla south about four miles north of the Blewett Pass summit. Then, the crash transpired.
“He lost control and crossed the center line into the northbound lanes,” Weber revealed. “When (the car crossed the road) it hit a dirt embankment and rolled at least two different times before coming to rest.”
As a result, the driver and the two female passengers from Seattle and Georgia required hospitalization.
Afterward, the authorities arrested the driver on suspicion of a DUI. Also, he could be charged with vehicular assault depending on the extent of his passengers’ injuries.
