Officers Hurt in DUI Accident on 3000 Telegraph Avenue

 
OAKLAND, CA (September 21, 2022) – On Monday, two Oakland police officers sustained injuries after a DUI crash on 3000 Telegraph Avenue.
 
According to the Oakland Police, the incident happened in the 3000 block of Telegraph Avenue.
 
Reports revealed that the incident occurred while two Oakland police officers were providing traffic control during a homicide investigation in the area. Then, a suspected drunk driver struck the officers. Also, officers confirmed that one officer was inside a patrol vehicle. Meanwhile, the second officer stood outside when the collision happened.
 
Moreover, responders transported the two officers to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
 
Furthermore, authorities arrested the suspect driver on suspicion of DUI.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remained under investigation.
