Female Driver Seriously Hurt in 3-Car Crash in Glendale
Glendale, AZ (May 01, 2021) On Friday, a female motorist is in a life-threatening condition due to a 3-vehicle collision on 51st Avenue near Olive Avenue.
Moreover, police say that the woman was seen driving towards oncoming traffic around 4:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, another person had minor injuries.
Reports say the woman was driving in the wrong lane, then hit a pickup truck.
Additionally, another pickup was not able to avoid the incident and crashed into the wreck.
Paramedics on the scene provided first-aid and took the woman to a hospital.
Furthermore, police are investigating the possible cause why the woman was driving the wrong way.
Police shut down 51st Avenue from Olive Avenue to Northern Avenue, due to the investigation.
Meanwhile, drivers took an alternate route from 43rd Avenue or 59th Avenue.
