Police Investigate 2-Vehicle Crash on Randolph County Road 1355 in Cairo
Cairo, MO (December 5, 2024) – A two-vehicle crash on Randolph County Road 1355, one mile south of Cairo, Missouri, injured two men at 8 a.m. on December 4, 2024, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened when a 2004 Dodge Dakota traveling eastbound and a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 traveling westbound collided as they crested a hill.
The 18-year-old driver of the Dodge Dakota, a Cairo, Missouri resident, sustained minor injuries. He wore a seat belt and was transported to Moberly Regional Medical Center by Randolph County Ambulance for treatment.
The 66-year-old driver of the Dodge Ram, also from Cairo, Missouri, suffered minor injuries as well. He wore a seat belt but declined medical transportation from the scene.
Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. 2470 Towing removed the Dodge Dakota from the scene, while the Dodge Ram’s owner arranged its removal.
The Randolph County Sheriff’s Department and Corporal Miller provided assistance at the crash site.
