2 Men Injured in Car Crash on Sunset Road and Sellers Avenue [Brentwood, CA]

2 Hospitalized after Brentwood Auto Accident on Sunset Road

 
BRENTWOOD, CA (October 7, 2020) – Monday night, two men suffered injuries in a car crash on Sunset Road in Brentwood, the police said.
 
The crash occurred at 5:36 p.m on the 1100 block of Sunset Road just east of Sellers Avenue.
 
According to reports, the accident involved a silver Honda sedan and white Chevrolet pickup.
 
Moreover, the Chevrolet pickup has an East Contra Costa Irrigation District emblem on the door. Both vehicles sustained heavy front-end damage.
 
Due to the crash, all three East Contra Costa Fire Protection District engines and a battalion chief responded to the scene. Also, a helicopter landed at the Sunset Park Athletic Complex.
 
One of the injured patients was airlifted from the scene due to major injuries. Meanwhile, an ambulance transported the other victim to a local hospital with minor injuries.
 
The CHP is currently investigating the crash. As of this time, they haven’t determined the cause of the collision.
