Shelton Man and Longview Man Injured in Car Crash on State Route 3

 
Shelton, WA (August 31, 2020) – On Saturday, a 23-year-old man from Shelton and an 85-year-old man from Longview got injured in a car crash State Route 3.
 
The tragic incident happened at about 12:40 p.m. when the man from Longview was driving west on Agate Road, approaching State Route 3. At the same time, the man from Shelton heading north on State Route 3, approaching Agate Road.
 
Authorities said the driver from Longview failed to yield and went directly in front of the Shelton man. As a result, the two vehicles crashed with each other.
 
The Washington State Patrol said authorities took the injured Shelton man to Mason General Hospital. But he was later transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities took the injured Longview man to St. Michael Medical Center in Bremerton.
