2 Injured in Ocosta Accident on Highway 105

OCOSTA, WA (August 25, 2020) – Two men were hospitalized after a two-car crash and blocked traffic on Highway 105 on August 17.

According to WSP, a 38-year-old Rochester man headed south on Highway 105 near Plum Road in a 2007 Dodge at around 9:45 a.m.

The State Patrol added that the Dodge was unsuccessful in making a curve, drove across the centerline, and crashed with a travel trailer that was being towed north by a 2017 GMC Sierra.

Responders transported the Rochester man and his 42-year-old passenger to Grays Harbor Community Hospital for their injuries.

Meanwhile, the 61-year-old male GMC driver was uninjured in the crash.

Furthemore, the State Patrol added that the charges remain pending. Moreover, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

On the other hand, the incident stalled traffic for around four hours.

When you are behind the wheel of a vehicle, it is your responsibility to follow all traffic laws. Moreover, accidents can often be avoided if drivers remain focused behind the wheel. Additionally, driving defensively can also prevent collisions.

However, if you find yourself unable to safely operate your vehicle, you can always use a ride share app instead. By doing so, you can help to ensure the safety of yourself and others around you.
