MERCED COUNTY, CA (March 3, 2022) – Wednesday afternoon, two men died in a two-vehicle crash near Fahey Road and Cherokee Road.
 
According to authorities, the incident happened at around 2:30 p.m. Moreover, it occurred near Fahey Road and Cherokee Road.
 
Reports revealed that an eastbound Nissan lost control for still unknown reasons. Then, it veered to the westbound lanes and struck a telephone pole in the north shoulder of Fahey. Then, an eastbound Honda also lost control during the incident and struck a guard rail. Eventually, it rolled down a canal.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced two occupants of the Nissan, a 17-year-old and a 25-year-old man, dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the Honda driver sustained minor injuries in the incident.
