2 Dead in Fallbrook Car Crash
FALLBROOK, CA (February 20, 2020) – Two victims, a man and a woman, died in a single-vehicle crash on Old Highway 395, on February 16.
The incident happened around 2:30 p.m., on Old Highway 395. Dispatchers arrived just south of Reche Road shortly after.
CHP later discovered that a black Ford drove off the west side of the road before traveling down a 30-foot embankment. However, the details leading up to the collision are currently unclear.
The two occupants of the vehicle were ejected upon impact. Medics declared both victims dead at the scene. Their identities remain unreleased due to pending family notification.
The crash also shut down both sides of the Old Highway 395 during the initial investigation. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic. More information will be released once available.
