CHP Investigates a Single-Vehicle Fatal Crash on Greger Street in Oakdale

Oakdale, CA (November 25, 2021) – Early Thursday morning, two people died in a single-vehicle crash on Greger Street.

The fatal crash in Oakdale happened at around 2 a.m. on November 25, west of Kaufman Road.

CHP said the 29-year-old man driving a 2016 white Ford Fusion was westbound on Greger at high speed when he failed to negotiate a turn and struck a raised curb.

After hitting the curb, the Fusion continued northwest and struck a tree and then a town home east of Wild Stallion Drive. Luckily no one in the residence sustained injuries.

Moreover, the CHP said neither the driver nor his passenger — a 27-year-old wore a seat belt. Both died at the crash scene. Their names were withheld pending notification of family.

Further investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing.
