FAA and NTSB Investigate a Plane Crash on Hathaway Street in Banning
Banning, CA (July 30, 2021) – Friday morning, two people died in a plane crash at Hathaway and Ramsey streets in a field near the airport.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the crash happened at about 9:35 a.m on July 30.
Reportedly, a small airplane crashed northwest of Banning Municipal Airport, killing both people on board.
Both people on the plane died at the scene. Authorities have yet to release their names, pending notification of relatives.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the circumstances of this fatal crash.
