2 Dead in San Bernardino County Auto Accident on Highway 395 near Kramer Junction

 
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CA (March 7, 2023) – Sunday afternoon, two people died in a head-on crash on Highway 395 near Kramer Junction.
 
California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino County Fire Department, and the Kern County Fire Department responded to the scene. Moreover, it happened at around 1:46 p.m. on southbound Highway 395 about 14 miles north of Kramer Junction.
 
Upon the rescue teams’ arrival, they found both vehicles with major damage. Also, one vehicle fully caught fire.
 
Thus, rescue crews requested at least one medical helicopter to land at the scene.
 
After extinguishing the fire, crews found two people inside the car. Then, they declared both of them dead at the scene. Also, their identities remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.
 
Reports revealed that the crash involved a silver sedan with major front-end damage and a maroon sedan with major front-end damage.
 
Also, both vehicles blocked the southbound lane.
 
Meanwhile, responders airlifted one person in via Mercy Air #14 helicopter from the scene to Antelope Valley Medical Center in critical condition.
