BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 6, 2020) – Two people died in a hit-and-run collision on Highway 99 near Hosking Road on January 4.
 
The collision between a sedan and a semi-truck occurred just after 5:45 a.m. However, further details regarding how the accident occurred are not known.
 
Two victims died in the accident. Police did not release the identities of the victims.
 
As a result of the collision, one of the drivers sustained major injuries. However, police did not provide an update on the victim’s medical condition.
