2 Dead and 2 Injured in Sacramento County Accident on State Route 160 and 3 Mile Slough
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (December 31, 2021) – Wednesday morning, two people died in a multi-vehicle crash on State Route 160 and 3 Mile Slough.
The incident occurred at around 9:01 a.m. on State Route 160, south of 3 Mile Slough.
According to reports, the Nissan driver crossed over a double-yellow line. Then, the Nissan side-swiped a Toyota driving in the opposite direction. As a result, the Toyota spun while a GMC crashed into the Nissan’s passenger side.
Nissan driver and his 48-year-old female passenger from Pittsburg died from their injuries.
The crash left the driver of the Toyota from Elk Grove and the 44-year-old Winters male driver of GMC t with injuries. Both of them went to the hospital.
At this time, the authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
Also, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identities of the deceased due to pending family notification.
