LA MIRADA, CA (May 1, 2022) – Saturday morning, two people died in a speeding crash on Rosecrans Avenue and Beach Boulevard.
 
The incident happened at 7:53 a.m. on Rosecrans Avenue and Beach Boulevard.
 
According to some witnesses, a speeding car crashed and “almost disintegrated.” Reports confirmed that the vehicle sheared a fire hydrant and toppled a pole. Officers described the vehicle as a Chrysler 300 that had traveled east on Rosecrans Avenue.
 
The impact ejected the male driver and the woman. After the crash, responders declared them dead at the scene. At this time, their identities remain undisclosed due to pending family notification.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t determined whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
