SACRAMENTO, CA (January 13, 2022) – Wednesday morning, two people died in a solo vehicle crash on Interstate 80 and Raley Boulevard.
 
The incident occurred at about 1:10 a.m. on Interstate 80 and Raley Boulevard. According to reports, a Toyota Prius drove to an eastbound off-ramp to Raley Boulevard while speeding. As a result, the vehicle crashed into a tree and split in half. During the impact, the vehicle also ejected two people.
 
The two occupants succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
 
According to reports, the driver was a 35-year-old man from Sacramento. Meanwhile, the passenger was a man whose identity remains undisclosed.
