2 Dead in Heber Auto Accident on Dogwood Road and McCabe Road
HEBER, CA (December 29, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, two people died in a single-vehicle crash on Dogwood Road and McCabe Road.
The incident that claimed two lives happened on Dogwood Road and McCabe Road.
According to reports, a 50-year-old Heber man drove south on Dogwood Road south of McCabe Road. However, his SUV veered off the road. Then, the driver overcorrected and drove across the road and into the Dogwood Canal.
Then, the vehicle came to rest upside down in the canal completely submerged.
Meanwhile, both the driver and 72-year-old female passenger failed to escape the vehicle. Both of them succumbed to injuries at the scene.
At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed their identities due to pending family notification.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
