Bakersfield, CA (November 12, 2021) – Friday afternoon, two people died in an aircraft crash north of Garlock Road, northeast of California City.

Kern County Fire officials confirmed two people dead.

The crash site is an area about a half-mile north of Garlock Road west of Highway 395. 

Officials say the downed aircraft was a two-seater plane.
