2 Dead and 3 Hospitalized after Oxnard Crash on North Harbor Boulevard and Gonzales Road
OXNARD, CA (March 3, 2022) – Wednesday night, two people died in a two-vehicle accident on North Harbor Boulevard and Gonzales Road.
The incident occurred just after 5:30 p.m. in the 300 block of North Harbor Boulevard, south of Gonzales Road.
According to reports, a Subaru driver headed north on Harbor Boulevard. Then, the driver lost control, veered right onto the dirt shoulder, and left across both lanes into oncoming traffic. Eventually, the Subaru crashed with a southbound Ford Explorer with four occupants.
As a result, the Subaru driver and a male passenger in the Ford both died at the scene. Meanwhile, the Ford driver and two passengers sustained injuries and required hospitalization.
At this time, the authorities haven’t determined which car hit the other. However, they clarified that the Subaru had driven across the southbound lane.
