PORTER RANCH, CA (October 10, 2024) – Tuesday night, 2 people died in a horrific 2-vehicle crash on 10700 Tampa Avenue and Chatsworth Street.

The incident occurred at 11:15 p.m. on 10700 Tampa Avenue, south of Chatsworth Street, LAFD spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said.   

A 58-year-old man and an approximately 50-year-old man died, and a man in his 20s sustained injuries in the crash and was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
