Police Investigate the Wrong-Way Crash on Loop 303 in Litchfield Park 

Litchfield Park, AZ (January 28, 2022) – Early Friday morning, two people died, and one other sustained injuries in a wrong-way crash on Loop 303 in West Valley.

The deadly wrong-way crash in Litchfield Park happened just before 4 a.m. on January 28, near Bethany Home Road.

Arizona Department of Public Safety officials said a wrong-way driver in a pickup truck travelled northbound in the southbound lanes when it collided with an SUV.

The SUV driver died at the scene. Paramedics took two occupants of the wrong-way truck to the hospital, where the passenger died from their injuries.

Officials said the wrong-way driver is suspected of impairment and remains in the hospital.

Further investigation into this fatal Litchfield Park crash is ongoing.
