Police Investigate Wrong-Way Crash on State Route 51 in Phoenix
Phoenix, AZ (February 4, 2022) – Early Friday morning, two people sustained injuries in a wrong-way crash on State Route 51.
The wrong-way crash in Phoenix happened at around 1:30 a.m. on February 4.
DPS said they received a call about a driver headed southbound in the northbound lanes of State Route 51 near Northern Avenue.
Then the wrong-way vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle near Thomas Road shortly after.
All the occupants of both vehicles sustained injuries.
No other information is immediately available.
Further investigation is ongoing.
