Juvenile Hospitalized after Two-vehicle Crash on Cypress Avenue in Central Fontana
Fontana, CA (August 13, 2020) – On Thursday afternoon, two people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Cypress Avenue and Arrow Boulevard.
The incident happened on August 13.
Fontana Police say a silver Nissan was heading south on Cypress Avenue and did not stop for the stop sign at Arrow Boulevard, directly crashing into a black Lexus leading Arrow.
As a result, a girl in the Nissan transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center, and the adult in the Lexus was transported to Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center. Their current condition has not yet updated.
Moreover, one of the vehicles struck an Edison pole and sheared off a fire hydrant, spewing water into the air. The Fontana Water Company then responded to the scene for equipment repairs.
