2 Injured in Traffic Accident on Highway 46 East [Paso Robles, CA]

Paso Robles, CA (March 19, 2022) On Friday, a traffic accident on Highway 46 East injured a couple in their 70’s.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says the collision happened just after 9:30 a.m. at Union Road.

Reports say that a Honda turned left on Highway 46’s westbound lane when an eastbound Audi struck the side of the Honda.

The Honda driver and passenger both from Santa Cruz were gravely injured.

Rescuers took both to a local hospital for immediate treatment.

Meanwhile, paramedics took the Audi driver to the hospital as well.

The CHP is conducting an investigation to find the probable cause of the crash.

Moreover, officials have ruled out impairment as a factor for the crash.
