Injuries Reported in Santa Maria Fiery Accident on Dominion Road and Orcutt Garey Road

 
SANTA MARIA, CA (October 12, 2021) – Monday morning, two people sustained injuries in a tanker truck crash on Dominion Road and Orcutt Garey Road.
 
According to Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the incident happened at around 4:30 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on Dominion Road and Orcutt Garey Road in the Sisquoc area.
 
Reports revealed that a semi-truck carrying oil and another vehicle struck branches of a downed Eucalyptus tree. Then, the semi truck flipped to its side and sparked a fire that spread to a nearby grove of eucalyptus trees.
 
Furthermore, responding firefighters managed to get the fires contained. Also, the incident didn’t lead to oil leaks.
 
Moreover, responders confirmed that the truck drivers suffered minor injuries. Meanwhile, the vehicle driver sustained moderate injuries in the incident.
