Salon Client Hospitalized after Car Crash in Tangled Hair Salon in Folsom

Folsom, CA (October 29, 2021) – Wednesday morning, one salon client and a nail technician sustained injuries when a car crash inside the Tangled Hair Salon on East Bidwell Street.

The crash in Folsom happened on October 27. 

 Christina Mercadel, the salon owner said she saw a car going through a stop sign, crossing four lanes of traffic, and then heading through her parking lot — right toward her and her clients inside her business.

She added that after entering the building, the car then went through an inside wall, causing it to fall onto people inside the neighboring nail salon, leaving a nail technician with minor injuries. Her client who was hit by the car went to the hospital but is doing ok.

In the meantime, she had been dealing with ripped-out phone lines and electrical wires from the crash.

She was glad no one had major injuries. 

Further investigation is ongoing.
