PHOENIX, AZ (December 17, 2024) – Late Sunday, a startling pedestrian crash near 35th Avenue and Indian School Road injured 2.

The incident occurred just after 11:00 p.m. near 35th Avenue and Indian School Road.

Police reported that a vehicle veered off the road for unknown reasons, striking a woman walking on the sidewalk before continuing to hit a nearby home.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. The driver, identified only as a woman, was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

No injuries were reported among the occupants of the home.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
