One person in Critical Condition after Rollover Crash on Old Highway 395 in North County

North County, CA (February 17, 2022) – Thursday night, two people sustained injuries in a solo vehicle rollover crash on Old Highway 395.

The solo vehicle crash in North County happened at around 6:40 p.m. on February 17, east of Interstate 15.

CHP said the vehicle went off the roadway, went up an embankment, and then rolled over a few times.

Crews extricated two people from the wreckage of the vehicle. 

EMS took one person to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido in critical condition.

The other person declined to be evaluated at the scene but was taken to a hospital as a precaution.

No other information is immediately available.

Further investigation to determine the cause of the crash is underway.
