Two Hospitalized after Rear-End Crash on Sunset Cliffs Boulevard in San Diego
San Diego, CA (June 23, 2022) – Wednesday night, two people sustained injuries in a rear-end crash on Sunset Cliffs and Nimitz boulevards.
The rear-end crash in San Diego happened at around 9:50 p.m. on June 22 at an Ocean Beach stop light.
San Diego Police said the crash involved a 2015 Kia Sol and a 2008 Nissan Altima injuring two people.
Reportedly, a 26-year-old woman in a 2015 Kia Sol did not see a 2008 Nissan Altima stopped at the light when she hit it from behind.
As a result, a 25-year-old passenger in the Kia was hospitalized with a spinal fracture while reporting “no feeling in his legs”. Police said he did not wear a seatbelt.
