Police Investigate a Plane Crash near Big Bear Airport in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA (June 22, 2021) – Tuesday afternoon, two occupants of the single-engine Piper PA28 sustained severe injuries after the plane crashed near Big Bear Airport.
The plane crash happened at around 1:30 p.m. on June 22.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department said the single-engine Piper PA28 crashed and caught fire as the pilot was attempting to land at the airport in the mountains east of Los Angeles.
Reportedly, the crash site is just south of the airport.
EMS took the two occupants to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
