2 Men Struck by Car on Octavia Street at Haight Street
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (June 24, 2018) – Two pedestrians were badly injured in a pedestrian collision on Octavia Street Sunday morning when they were struck by a driver in a BMW while crossing the street in Hayes Valley.
The incident occurred at around 3:24 AM near the intersection of Octavia Street and Haight Street. A 34-year-old man and a 38-year-old man were crossing the street when an unknown driver was driving southbound on Octavia Street. The car struck both men, and the victims sustained life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained at the scene after the crash and was not arrested. Both victims were rushed to a hospital for treatment. Police did not release any information on the vehicle and driver that struck the men.
