2 Hurt in Bellevue Multi-Vehicle Crash
BELLEVUE, WA (November 14, 2019) – Two people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Richard Road on November 12.
The chain-reaction crash occurred just before 6:00 p.m. when one car cut off another vehicle as they travel along Richards Road near the 90 Freeway interchange in Factoria. The cut-off car veered to avoid the first car. However, the driver lost control and drove across all the lanes, leading to a multi-vehicle crash.
The police responded and located eight cars damaged in the crash. Responders took two people to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the driver of the first care escaped the scene. Authorities determined that the driver of the car that was cut off drove impaired. The police arrested him on suspicion of DUI.
The road remained closed for an hour during the extensive cleanup and investigation.
