2 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 5 [Ferndale, WA]

Ferndale, WA (January 31, 2024) – 2 people were injured following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency responders rushed around 5:30 p.m. to the northbound freeway south of the Portal Way interchange on the Nooksack River bridge.

The paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital following the 7-vehicle crash.

Traffic jam was extended over 3 miles south reaching the Slater Road interchange around 6 p.m.

WSP officers are investigating this traffic accident.
