2 Injured in Lower River Road Collision [Vancouver, WA]

Vancouver, WA (June 24, 2024) – Two people have been injured following a Lower River Road collision Saturday night.

The authorities responded past 8 p.m. to the two-vehicle crash on Northwest Gateway.

Troopers said one car drove off the road and down a steep embankment. Immediately, rescuers used ladders to reach the car and used mechanical extrication tools to reach the woman inside it.

Similarly, a man was also injured in the collision.

Both people were transported to an area hospitals with serious injuries.
