Two Hospitalized after Crash on Interstate 5 in Lewis County
Lewis County, WA (July 12, 2021) – Sunday morning, two people sustained injuries after a crash on Interstate 5 at state Route 508 near Napavine.
The crash in Lewis County happened at about 12:45 a.m. on July 11.
WSP said a Chehalis man, 32, was southbound on I-5 at State Route 508 near Napavine in Lewis County. Troopers said he drove off the road, then came back onto it, crossed all lanes, and struck the median barrier.
Reportedly, the 60-year-old Winlock woman then crashed into both the Chehalis man’s vehicle and the 21-year-old Ocean Shores man’s vehicle.
EMS took the woman to Providence Centralia Hospital, while the man was taken to Peacehealth Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington.
No other information is released. Further investigation is ongoing.
