PHOENIX, AZ (February 5, 2024) – Late Friday night, 2 officers suffered injuries in a startling auto accident near 7th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.

The crash occurred just before 11:30 p.m. near 7th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.

Reports said that as the police vehicle traveled north on 7th Avenue, another vehicle failed to yield at a stop sign, which led to a crash.

As a result, responders took two officers to the hospital for precautionary measures. Moreover, their injuries were said to be minor.

Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle suffered no injuries in the crash.
