Pregnant Woman and 1 Other Hospitalized after Pedestrian Crash on West Alisal Street
SALINAS, CA (August 14, 2019) – Two people suffered injuries in a pedestrian crash on West Alisal Street, Wednesday morning.
According to the Salinas Police Department, the incident happened at about 8:00 AM. Two pedestrians attempted to cross the street when a vehicle struck them.
Emergency responders transported a pregnant woman and another woman to a hospital with unspecified injuries. Their current conditions remain unknown.
Meanwhile, a preliminary investigation found that the driver had a suspended license at the time of the collision. Authorities arrested the driver and booked him into jail.
