Injuries Reported in College Station Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 30 near Bird Pond Road
COLLEGE STATION, TX (October 30, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a crippling 3-vehicle crash on Highway 30 near Bird Pond Road injured 2.
The incident involving three vehicles occurred just before 7:00 a.m. on Highway 30 near Bird Pond Road.
Sergeant Justin Ruiz from the Texas Department of Public Safety reported that a Chevy Camaro was heading east on Highway 30 when the driver attempted a left turn into a private driveway. At that moment, a Volkswagen Beetle collided with the back of the Camaro.
The impact pushed the Camaro into the westbound lane, where it was struck by a westbound Jeep SUV, causing the Jeep to roll onto its side. Both the Camaro and Jeep drivers sustained minor injuries and were taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
