Driver Wanted after Three-Vehicle Collision near North 192nd Street
SHORELINE, WA (March 29, 2019) – Two drivers suffered injuries Friday evening following a hit-and-run crash on Aurora Avenue North. Authorities did not disclose the identities of the victims.
As per reports, the incident happened at about 9:00 PM. Edmonds police spotted a reckless driver and attempted to pull the driver over.
After the chase ended, the speeding truck continued south. There, it collided with two other vehicles. The impact of the collision caused the second vehicle to flip over and sent the third vehicle into a fire hydrant.
Both drivers suffered minor injuries and received treatment at a nearby hospital. Meanwhile, the truck driver exited his vehicle and fled the area on foot.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash. Anyone with information about the identity and the whereabouts of the suspect is asked to cooperate with investigators as soon as possible. Further details will be released once they become available.
