Suspect Flees after Crashing on Sylmar Home in Oro Grande Street
Sylmar, CA (June 18, 2020) – On Thursday before dawn, a hit-and-run crash on Sylmar home injured the homeowner, Angelo Braye, and his girlfriend. Police continue searching the suspect.
The accident happened 1:30 a.m. on June 18, occurring on the 14000 blocks of Oro Grande Street, near the intersection with Dronfield Avenue.
Reportedly, Braye said he and his girlfriend were sleeping but they’re awakened by the car crashing directly into their bedroom. However, the driver fled the scene on foot.
The homeowner and his girlfriend suffered cuts and bruises as a result of the accident but not taken to the hospital. However, the girlfriend will seek treatment on Friday for pain around her stomach and side.
Meanwhile, the suspect is still at-large and is described as a Latino in his late teens wearing black clothing.
