PEORIA, AZ (July 14, 2021) – On Monday, two people sustained injuries in a head-on crash on Loop 303 near Lake Pleasant Parkway.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the wrong-way accident happened on Loop 303 near Lake Pleasant Parkway.
 
Reports revealed that a northbound Nissan Sentra traveling on the southbound lanes collided head-on with a Tesla.
 
Furthermore, officials confirmed that both drivers sustained injuries in the crash.
 
Moreover, officers were looking for the wrong-way driver, a 78-year-old man with dementia. The man was later located and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
