Turlock, CA (March 2, 2023) – Saturday night, two people sustained injuries in a DUI crash on N Olive Avenue.

Subsequently, police arrested 49-year-old Kevin Vandewark on the charge of driving under the influence of alcohol causing bodily injury to another person. 

The DUI crash on N Olive Avenue in Turlock happened at 10:12 pm on February 25.

Officers said the collision involved a 2021 Harley-Davidson Road Glide and the second was a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class.

Reportedly, the Road Glide had a single rider Vandewark of Turlock, and the GLA-Class had two occupants, a driver, and his passenger. 

American Medical Response transported the passenger of the GLA-Class to a local hospital. The driver sustained minor injuries.

Investigators said Vandewark was under the influence of alcohol. 

Vandewark was transported to a local hospital where he was medically cleared. Afterward, he was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
