2 Hurt in Santa Clarita Car Accident
SANTA CLARITA, CA (May 30, 2019) – Two people, a female driver, and her child passenger, sustained injuries in DUI car collision.
The incident occurred on May 24, when a female driver was struck by a drunk driver. Deputies later arrested 34-year-old David Maxim of Canyon Country.
Authorities arrived on Soledad Canyon Road near Anne Freda Street, shortly after 5 p.m.
Miller also added that the suspect drove east on Soledad Canyon Road at high speeds when he allegedly ran a red light. He eventually collided with the victims’ vehicle as a result.
The police arrested Maxim due to pending a DUI investigation after deputies smelled alcohol. He is currently facing felony charges of DUI causing injury.
