2 Hospitalized in Fresno Helicopter Accident near Willow Avenue and Jensen Avenue
FRESNO, CA (October 2, 2022) – Saturday morning, two people sustained injuries in a helicopter crash near Willow Avenue and Jensen Avenue.
According to the Fresno Police, the incident happened near Willow Avenue and Jensen Avenue.
Reports revealed that two occupants of the helicopter heard a popping sound before the helicopter lost altitude.
Moreover, responders transported the two occupants of the helicopter to a Community Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries. Also, officers said that both patients were expected to survive and recover.
Furthermore, Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that the helicopter that crashed was a Bell 206B.
Meanwhile, the incident remained under the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board’s investigation.
