WEAVERVILLE, CA (November 14, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, two people sustained injuries in a Go-Kart crash on Washington Street and Highway 299.
 
The incident happened at around 1:50 p.m. on Washington Street and Highway 299.
 
According to reports, a Go-Kart driver swerved to avoid a collision with a vehicle and then crashed.
 
Moreover, officers confirmed that two occupants of the vehicle sustained injuries in the crash, including a female juvenile with a possible broken pelvis. Then, paramedics medevacked one patient to Redding for treatment.
 
Furthermore, authorities said that neither of the two occupants of the Go-Kart wore safety gear at the time of the crash.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remained under investigation.
