PALM SPRINGS, CA (August 18, 2022) – Friday night, two people suffered injuries in a pedestrian crash on Palm Canyon Drive near Prescott Drive.
 
The incident happened at around 10:30 p.m. on Palm Canyon Drive near Prescott Drive.
 
According to reports, as the two pedestrians entered the crosswalk, a car hit them. As a result, both people sustained injuries and required hospitalization.
 
Also, officers confirmed that the flashing crosswalk was not working during the incident. Meanwhile, reports revealed that since the pedestrian used a marked crosswalk, the pedestrian has the right of way.
 
At this time, the driver received no charges but the investigation continues.
