Injuries Reported in Mountain Pass Auto Accident on Interstate 15 and Nipton Road

 
MOUNTAIN PASS, CA (December 12, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, two people suffered injuries in a rollover crash on Interstate 15 and Nipton Road.
 
The incident happened at around 3:10 p.m. on northbound Interstate 15 before Nipton Road in the Mountain Pass area near Stateline.
 
California Highway Patrol, Clark County Fire Department, and San Bernardino County Fire Department all came to the scene.
 
Authorities revealed that the crash involved a white Jeep Wrangler and an unknown sedan.
 
Also, the road may have been wet at the time of the crash.
 
Then, the impact ejected the driver and the passenger of the Jeep. Then, the Jeep reportedly landed in traffic lanes.
 
Afterward, Mercy Air #7 helicopter transported one person from near the scene to Las Vegas University Medical Center in critical condition. Meanwhile, a ground ambulance took the other person in serious condition to a local trauma center.
