MISSION VALLEY, CA (December 9, 2021) – On Tuesday, two people sustained injuries in a rollover crash on Interstate 15 and Camino Del Rio.
 
According to authorities, the incident happened on northbound Interstate 15 and Camino Del Rio.
 
Reports revealed that a semi-truck with a trailer traveled downhill from City Heights. Then, the driver hit the brakes too hard and started to swerve. Afterward, the semi struck a red pickup truck and continued off the freeway. The force of the crash pushed the pickup truck to roll over multiple times off the freeway onto Camino Del Rio South.
 
Moreover, responders transported the semi-driver with unknown injuries and a female passenger with a broken arm to a local hospital for treatment.
 
Furthermore, officials believed that the driver traveled too fast for the wet road.
